I wanted to make some cells on a Google Spreadsheet automatically have formatting appear red or green depending on if they are a positive or negative and wondering if there is an easy way to do that so I am not manually updating the cells for my reports each month. Any tips/tricks to do easily?

Hey there! It’s super easy! Select the fields (columns and/or rows) you want to apply the formatting to. Then under “format” on the main menu go to “conditional formatting” and select the various options you’d like to create (ie if negative number then make red). Hope that helps!
