I installed some kind of update hack back in the day that would force the clipboard to clear everytime in Photoshop (CS 2), but that doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Is there a way to manually force Photoshop to clear it’s clipboard without restarting?

To manually clear the clipboard contents in Photoshop CS 2 (this process may vary slightly but should be more or less the same for newer versions of Photoshop), browse to Edit > Purge > Clipboard. Voila 🙂
