All of a sudden my Macbook Pro won’t “go to sleep” anymore. I noticed after having left it over night that the next morning all my screens were still up. Isn’t this bad, ie. could result in “screen burn” or damaging the monitor permanently? I wish there was a way to find out why it suddently doesn’t work anymore. I checked my “Energy Saver” settings (under System Preferences > Energy Saver) and they are set as normal (to the defaults). In other words, the Macbook is set to go to sleep but won’t unless I manually do it, which I’ll never remember. Very frustrating – any tips? I have a faint idea it may be related to the recent O/S upgrade to High Sierra, but then again maybe not.
