Immunity Booster: Citrus And Ginger Juice Blend
This recipe makes one serving and takes approximately 10 minutes to make.
- 1 Orange
- 3 Strawberries
- 1 Lemon whole
- 2 Large Carrots
- 1/2 inch Fresh Ginger
This citrus and ginger juice blend is crammed full of vitamin C and is the perfect boost to your immune system, particularly when cold season comes around! The ginger may also act to reduce ill-health symptoms, including nausea, headaches, inflammation or pain. If the ginger taste is too strong, cut it down until the flavor meets your liking. Keep in mind that many of the positive benefits of this juice blend come from the ginger!
Green Machine Juice Blend (Low Sugar, High Nutrient)
This recipe makes one large serving and takes approximately 10 minutes to make.
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/2 green apple
- 1/2 lemon
- A small piece of ginger
- 1/2 green chard leaf
- A small bunch of cilantro
- 5 kale leaves
- A handful of spinach
This green machine juice blend is packed with leafy greens that contain the highest levels of nutrients of all vegetables and fruits. This juice blend may take a few tries and tweaks to get it to your liking, but the cilantro, ginger, lemon and apple all contribute unique flavor highlights. This green juice is heart-healthy and promotes a beautifully clear complexion. Its low sugar content is also helpful in maintaining energy without a sugar high (and crash).
Skin Beautifier: Strawberry Pineapple Mint Juice
This recipe makes one serving and takes approximately 10 minutes to make (less if pineapple is pre-cut.)
- 1/2 a pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 pear
- 30 mint leaves
This sweet juice has just a hint of mint but plenty of sweetness to take the edge off any craving you might have for those refined sugars. With plenty of antioxidants, this is a great juice to refresh your skin and digestive tract.
Antioxidant Booster: Blueberry Pomegranate Juice
This recipe makes one serving and takes approximately 5 minutes to make.
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 cups blueberries
- Sparkling water
After juicing the pomegranate seeds and blueberries, add to a glass and top off the glass with sparkling water.
This is a very common juice combo in commercial juices, but when made naturally, it packs many more benefits. This combination eliminates refined sugars (often added during the processing of supermarket juices) and gives all of the health benefits offered by these two superfruits!
Stress Reliever: Pineapple Lavender Juice
This recipe makes one serving and takes approximately 10 minutes to make.
- 1 pineapple, peeled, cored and cubed
- 1 Tbsp of pesticide-free lavender blossoms
If you are feeling adventurous, then this pineapple lavender juice is a great choice. Pineapple brings sweetness and plenty of potassium, thiamine and vitamin C. Add lavender to add in iron, calcium and vitamin A as well as the potential for calming anxiety and reducing headache pain.
In rare instances, some individuals have allergic reactions to lavender, so it is important to note any potential for allergy before preparing this recipe.
Heart Health: Delicious Purple Power Juice
This recipe makes one serving and takes approximately 5 minutes to make.
- 6 cups red grapes
- 1 Golden Delicious apple
- 2 (1-inch) pieces of ginger
- 1/2 cup blackberries
This delicious purple power juice is not only deliciously sweet, but it’s packed full of heart-healthy vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. The benefits of delicious red grapes combine with the anti-nausea benefits of ginger to create a well-rounded and healthy juice. Keep in mind that any juice containing ginger allows you to reduce the ginger amount to suit your taste.
Tropical Fruit Juice Blend Recipe
This recipe makes two servings and takes approximately 10 minutes to make.
- 1 Kiwi Peeled
- 6 Strawberries
- 1 Orange Peeled
- 1/2 Mango Peeled and Sliced
- 1 cup Pineapple Chunks
- 1/2 cup Coconut Water
This tropical fruit juice blend is great at breakfast or to take the edge off of your sweet tooth. This juice is packed full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Your body will thank you by giving you plenty of energy!
Vegetable Juice Blend
This recipe makes one large serving or two smaller servings and takes approximately 10 minutes to make.
- 2 Tomatoes – Medium (I like Roma tomatoes best!)
- 1 Stalk of Celery
- 1 Carrot – Large
- 1 Cup Broccoli
- 1 Cucumber
- 1/2 Lemon – Peeled
- 1 Garlic Clove
This juice blend is a fantastic substitute for V8 and other commercial “vegetable” juices that are packed with sodium and other additives that increase high blood pressure risks. The tomatoes make this juice a great source of lycopene, a nutritional agent that has proven beneficial in fighting cancer.
Making Your Own Juices
One of the best parts of juicing is being able to make your own creations by combining your favorite fruits and vegetables. It’s even fun to add healthy vegetables and fruits you don’t like to see if you can get their benefits while hiding the taste with other ingredients. Have fun while making your own juice combinations, and remember, there is no such thing as rules when it comes to creating your own juice!
