Kathy Solarino

Originally from New Jersey, Kathy now calls Winston-Salem home. She began her writing while raising her three sons, as a feature writer for a local newspaper and a writer and editor for a local kid magazine. She then went on to work for a non-profit Arts in Education organization and wrote and designed their catalog and newsletters. She also was a partner in a small business. Her experience is in marketing, design, and business management. She enjoys listening to local bands, traveling, and looking for antique and collectible items in her free time. She also loves babysitting for her fur nephew, Copper, when his mom and dad are away.
